RCMS has once again stepped up our service to our community during this extreme weather event. RCMS, Coast Life Support (CLSD), and the South Coast Volunteer Fire Department (SCVFD), and the North Sonoma Coast Fire Protection District (NSCFPD) were concerned about the hazardous road conditions. RCMS remained open beyond our standard hours to ensure that any person in need in our community had access to high-quality healthcare. Our staff remained with a patient into the early hours to ensure their survival. Our collaboration and partnership with these organizations is robust and vital to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. We have a plan in place to staff RCMS through the weekend. RCMS and CLSD proactively collaborated and sent an ambulance with staff who work for RCMS and CLSD to be north of the Garcia River. With the anticipation of the river closure, our organizations understand the need to access to healthcare services. This is what we do at RCMS for our community. We have shown over the last few years that our dedication to the healthcare of our community is not something we just talk about but what we have shown through the pandemic and through this extreme weather event. We will continue to be here for our community during any upcoming event. Comments are closed.
