Ready, Set, Go! In California, wildfires are not a matter of “if” but “when”. Stay safe with this 3-step wildfire preparation plan. Living near California’s natural areas means facing a higher chance of wildfires. Knowing how to prepare is key to keeping your home and family safe. Get Ready - Get ready for wildfires by hardening your home and shaping a safety zone around it.
We send surveys to our patients to get their feedback on our service. The feedback helps us know what we are doing right and where we can get better. The results of the survey are used by our performance improvement and quality improvement teams and are actively used to improve our delivery and provide you with the best possible service. Here are some excerpts from our survey responses: "Impressed with the competence of everyone involved. Thank you!" "Care is always excellent. Was able to make same day appointment. Staff is knowledgeable and so helpful." "This is the best care I have gotten in years. The doctors I had before did not take care of me like I have gotten from RCMS. Thank you." "RCMS is so valuable to me! You are allowing me to age in a place I love! Thank you." "The doctor and PAs were thorough, skillful, friendly, informative. They were great! Excellent care!" The next free Matter of Balance Course will take place in Point Arena on July 23. Please see the details in the flyer below for more information.

July is the time to elevate awareness about juvenile arthritis and help make a difference in the lives of the hundreds of thousands of kids in the U.S. who live with it. July is Juvenile Arthritis (JA) Awareness Month and a time to elevate awareness about juvenile arthritis (JA) and other childhood rheumatic diseases. Together with the JA community and partners, the Arthritis Foundation shines an even brighter light on the challenges of JA and the hundreds of thousands of kids in the U.S. who live with it. The goal of Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month is to spread the word that kids get arthritis, too. Most people are surprised to learn that arthritis isn’t “just an old person’s disease” and can affect children as young as just a few months old. The Arthritis Foundation and its partners lead advocacy and research to improve access to care and provide resources that support JA families. Foundation partners include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Childhood Arthritis Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA), Alpha Omicron Pi (AOII) and countless other organizations and individuals. www.arthritis.org/about-arthritis/juvenile-arthritis-awareness-month www.cdc.gov/arthritis/childhood-arthritis/index.html www.niams.nih.gov/community-outreach-initiative/health-observances carragroup.org/research/partnerships/ While there is no cure for juvenile arthritis, the work of the Arthritis Foundation and its research partners have expanded the ways to manage and treat it. |
