February 10 Vaccine Clinic a Success
RCMS had a very successful mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Wednesday, February 10. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped us vaccinate over 400 people. We are still vaccinating Phase 1A and 1B, Tier 1, which includes people over 75 years of age, emergency workers, medical workers, agricultural workers, teachers, and food service/grocery store workers. If you live in the RCMS service area, you can sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine interest list here. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KYGPTVS (ENGLISH) https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RR7XJMN (SPANISH) Next Invitation-Only Vaccine Clinic Scheduled for February 14 Instead of holding two vaccination clinics this weekend, because of weather and other logistical issues, RCMS will holding one large vaccination clinic: When: Sunday, February 14 from 8 AM to 4 PM Where: South Coast Fire Department building at 39125 Church Street in Gualala This will be by invitation only, and people will be invited to arrive at specific times. Please do not come to this event unless you are invited. RCMS will be emailing and/or calling people to confirm appointments. We ask those invited not to park in the church parking lot between the hours of 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM, but instead find parking along the street, or at the RCMS upper parking lot. Outside of those times, you may park in the church parking lot. There will also be handicapped parking spots for those with mobility issues so they can be vaccinated in their vehicle. Thank you to Coast Life Support District, local fire departments and our community volunteers for assisting at these events. Redwood Coast Medical Services (RCMS) will host three additional mass COVID-19 vaccine clinics over the next week. · Wednesday, February 10, 8 AM to 2 PM (500 Moderna first doses) · Saturday, February 13, 8 AM to 2 PM (400 Moderna second doses) · Sunday, February 14, 8 AM to 2 PM (400 Moderna second doses) Location: South Coast Fire Department building at 39125 Church Street in Gualala These are invitation-only clinics. Do not come to these clinics unless you have received an invitation. If you received your invitation, please bring your photo ID. We continue to have a much greater demand for the vaccine than the available supply. We will continue to invite people from our vaccine interest list as more supplies become available. If you live in the RCMS service area, you can sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine interest list here. If you already signed up, please do not sign up again as this creates additional work for our team. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KYGPTVS(ENGLISH) https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RR7XJMN (SPANISH) A helpful list of COVID-19 vaccine questions and answers is here: https://www.rcms-healthcare.org/vaccine-faqs.html Thank you to Coast Life Support District, local fire departments and our community volunteers for assisting at these events. |
