RCMS Strategic Plan 2025-2030

Redwood Coast Medical Services is proud to share our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, developed by our Board of Directors in collaboration with leadership, staff, and community partners. This plan outlines our vision and priorities for the next five years, with a continued focus on expanding access to care, strengthening our workforce, enhancing patient experience, and ensuring long-term sustainability.

Guided by our mission and informed by community needs, this strategic plan serves as a roadmap to support the health and well-being of our coastal community now and into the future.

Joining the Board

RCMS Board  members  play  a  very important  part  in  keeping  primary  health  care  services  alive  and  well  in  the coastal areas of Southern Mendocino and Northern  Sonoma  Counties and  in  making  sure  that  the  Center  stays responsive  to  the  needs  of  the  community.  Our  Board  members  serve  without  compensation,  but  we  strive to  make  it  a  rewarding  experience by respecting  their  time  and  participation, by offering  training and  development  opportunities, and  by providing  administrative  support  to  Board  activities.  The  chief reward  however  is  the  opportunity  to  be  involved  with  a  unique  and  professional  organization, which contributes  to  the  life  and  health  of  this  community on  a  daily basis.  If you are interested in joining the Board of Directors please fill out the application.

About the Board

As an FQHC, RCMS is governed by a community board, and a majority of the members of that Board are required to be patients of RCMS so that they can adequately represent those patients who receive care at our health center.
