Women's Health Services
RCMS offers comprehensive, primary care to women of all ages. Our services, provided by female Board Certified Physician, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, and Family Nurse Practitioners. RCMS encourages all women patients to undergo regular Well Visits, which include many of the featured examinations/services below, either on an annual basis, or as recommended by a medical provider. Expanded ServicesWith the addition of a women's health Nurse Practitioner, RCMS is able to offer expanded Women's Health services. A Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) specializes in continuing and comprehensive healthcare for women across the lifespan with emphasis on conditions unique to women. They deliver a range of acute, chronic, and preventive healthcare services. Below are a examples of some of the services and procedures that Carolyn Hand, WHNP is able to offer. Teen Clinic
Working in conjunction with the Point Arena High School, RCMS helps to operate the school's Teen Clinic. This Clinic is staffed by school nurses and counselors, and teens are encouraged to make drop in visits, or they may call to make an appointment. Twice a month an RCMS medical provider is available to meet with teens on either a drop in or by appointment basis. The Teen Clinic is available to area teenagers and offers all types of primary care, including acute illness, family planning and counseling services.
