![]() Earlier this week, the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ recommended that children 5 to 11 years old be vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric vaccine. RCMS is committed to vaccinating children with safe and thoughtful planning. RCMS is waiting for direction from the Mendocino County Public Health Department and plans to provide vaccines to children ages 5 to 11 once we are authorized and have supplies on hand. These vaccines will be given at our main clinic in Gualala. RCMS will update the community via our webpage (https://www.rcms-healthcare.org/news), social media sites (Facebook and Instagram) and via local media. Please do not call our front desk for information on the pediatric COVID-19 vaccine. Our front desk staff is overwhelmed right now with calls. The updated information will always be on our webpage. RCMS is also gathering information via this form to help us plan for vaccination clinics. Please complete the online survey at this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2RWDFGL Your family's privacy is of the utmost importance to us and the information you share with us will not be shared with any other organization, it is simply to help us better plan for upcoming vaccination events. If you would prefer to use paper forms, they can be picked up and returned to the RCMS front desk. We appreciate your patience as we prepare for the roll out of the pediatric vaccine as we continue to provide COVID-19 vaccines and boosters for adults. Comments are closed.
