December 21, 2020 RCMS received its first batch of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for our frontline clinic staff. The first vaccine was administered today at 2:01 PM to one of our Urgent Care nurses. Over the next few days, the vaccine will be given to our clinic staff. RCMS will also start giving vaccinations to the Coast Life Support District (CLSD) ambulance staff starting tomorrow. More details will follow as the vaccine becomes available for the community at large. This is an important day for RCMS and the community.

Yes, details will be posted on the website as it becomes available. Currently, RCMS is vaccinating groups in the Phase 1a population, which includes front-line health care workers at RCMS and the first responders at CLSD. RCMS started vaccinating the Phase 1a group on December 21,
