CalFresh Emergency Allotments Approved

CalFresh households have been receiving the maximum benefit allotment since April 2021 as a result of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. The additional benefits are called the CalFresh Emergency Allotments. All CalFresh households are currently receiving at least $95 in emergency allotments each month.  These additional benefits are loaded onto the EBT card the month following approval. Emergency Allotments have been approved for September. They will be loaded onto recipients EBT cards October 24th. With maximum benefit allotments, now is a great time to apply for CalFresh!
