Tom Bertolli, MD, MPH       

Dr. Bertolli has been part of Redwood Coast Medical Services since its early years in the late 1970s. A native Californian, he grew up in San Rafael and earned his BA and MPH in Psychology, Epidemiology, and Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley. He attended medical school at The George Washington University and completed his residency in Family and Community Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.

From the beginning of his career, Dr. Bertolli was drawn to practicing medicine in a small community, where long-term relationships and continuity of care matter most. Over the years, he has had the privilege of caring for multiple generations of coastal families and is known for his thoughtful, patient-centered approach and deep commitment to community health.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Bertolli enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, cooking, sailing, and sharing time with family and friends. He is grateful for the relationships he has built with patients and colleagues and remains dedicated to serving the health needs of the Mendocino–Sonoma Coast.
