Tom Bertolli, MD, MPH
Dr. Bertolli has practiced medicine in our community for over thirty six years. He is a native Californian who grew up in San Rafael through high school and received BA and MPH degrees in Psychology, Epidemiology and Biostatistics at U.C. Berkeley. He attended medical school at GWU and completed his residency in Family and Community Medicine at U.C. San Francisco. In his application for medical school, he articulated his vision of doctoring in a small community, never realizing that is exactly how he would spend his career.
Tom finds solace and calm fly fishing the rivers of the world and is passionate about sailing, growing vegetables and fruit in his garden and orchard, and cooking and making and occasionally drinking good wine, especially with friends. He also really enjoys and appreciates a well told joke. He is most grateful for his own family( he has three children and two grandkids) and his partner, Caroline, and the relationships he has developed with patients he has had the privilege of caring for over three and half generations. He is not interested in retiring anytime soon. |
