SOCIAL MEDIA AND DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMENTING POLICY
The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance for commenters on Redwood Coast Medical Services (RCMS) social media and digital communication channels. RCMS participates in social media and digital communications to engage individuals in leading healthier lives and to inform our community about our operations, services and events. These channels include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, webpage news posts and could include additional channels in the future as our communications program evolves.
While we encourage fans and followers to comment on our social media and digital communication channels, we expect that this will be done in a respectful manner.
RCMS does not agree with, or endorse every comment that individuals post on our pages. Our goal is to share information with as many individuals as possible and our policy is to accept the majority of comments made to our profile. However, a comment will be deleted if it contains:
Posted comments and images do not necessarily represent the views of RCMS. External, non-RCMS links on any of our sites do not constitute official endorsement on behalf of RCMS. Therefore, all links posted as comments on RCMS posts will be reviewed and may be deleted.
Repeated violations of the RCMS social media and digital communication commenting policy may cause the author to be blocked from our social media and digital communication channels. We understand that social media and digital communication is a 24/7 medium; however, our moderation capabilities are not. We may not see every inappropriate comment right away, and we are trusting in the maturity of our community to ignore personal attacks and negative speech or respond politely.
