Community Resources Connection |
Community Resources Connection (CRC) is a volunteer organization that provides “neighbor to neighbor” help for all residents of the Northern California coastal area between the communities of Timber Cove and Manchester. The CRC office is located at the Elaine Jacob Center, 38550 South Highway One, Suite A1, Gualala, CA 95445. The mailing address is PO Box 336 Gualala, CA 95445.
Free transportation is provided for residents unable to drive themselves or arrange other private or public transportation to medical appointments, community events, to get medications or groceries or to run other necessary errands. Individuals must be ambulatory or have a caregiver if they cannot walk on their own.
Transportation by CRC must be scheduled by speaking in person with a volunteer at 1.800.395.8984 or 707.884.4562 at least 48 hours in advance before a ride is needed. Volunteers answer phones every business day from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. A message on the answering machine does not suffice, you must speak to a volunteer before the ride may be scheduled.
CRC has functioned for years in association with RCMS and is now under the RCMS 501c3 non-profit designation. Donations are tax deductible.
