Shaye Larie, Doctor of Nursing (DNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Shaye graduated summa cum laude with a doctorate in nursing practice from the University of Arizona. She began her practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019. Prior to her doctorate studies, Shaye earned a Master’s in Clinical Systems Leadership from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor’s from Boise State University as a Registered Nurse. Shaye is licensed to provide Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) for substance use disorder and chronic pain.
Shaye is passionate about treating patients as a whole person with a focus on quality of life and education for wellness and preventative health. She enjoys spending time with patients discussing realistic ways to incorporate nutrition and exercise into a busy lifestyle to prevent chronic illness and improve health outcomes. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and stays up to date on current research. Shaye is an Idaho native and grew up loving the forests and rivers of the Pacific Northwest. She lives in Gualala with her Alaskan Malamute mix, Mika, and Cairn Terrier mix, Mimoso. She enjoys exploring rivers and trails, traveling the world, and her professional portrait photography ventures. Shaye also has a minor in music and plays the piano when she can find the time! |
