RCMS Announces the appointment of Linda Royal as its new Chief Executive Officer

​With more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit healthcare leadership, Royal is a transformational executive known for guiding organizations through growth, transition, and operational change. She brings a proven track record of success in community health centers, hospital health systems, and service-based nonprofits. Most recently, she served as Chief Development Officer in a rural hospital system, leading the strategic development of new clinics, specialty and general surgery programs, and retail pharmacy services to strengthen healthcare in the southern Oregon coastal region.

Royal shared that she is honored to join RCMS and deeply appreciative of the opportunity to serve as CEO. “I am inspired by the commitment of the RCMS Board of Directors, the dedication of our staff and volunteers, and the strength of the partnerships that support our mission,” said Royal. “Together, we will continue to advance the mission of RCMS and ensure access to essential healthcare for all those we serve.”
 
The RCMS Board of Directors also extends its heartfelt thanks to Ara Chakrabarti, who will retire at the end of October after six years of distinguished service as Chief Executive Officer. Chakrabarti’s steady leadership and deep dedication have guided RCMS through important periods of growth and stability. On behalf of the RCMS community, we honor Ara’s contributions and celebrate the achievements RCMS has had under Ara’s leadership. With Royal’s appointment, RCMS remains committed to carrying forward RCMS’s legacy of ensuring healthcare services remain strong, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of the community.
