Dr. Mona Khanna honored

Gualala, CA – July 6, 2010 – At the RCMS Annual Meeting, held on June 28,   Sumedha Mona Khanna, M.D. was recognized for her contributions to the health center.  A long-time supporter of RCMS, Dr. Khanna is leaving the Board after serving for seven years.

d will be greatly missed by all of us who have relied on her insight and experience over the years,” said Diane Agee, CEO, RCMS.  “I would especially like to acknowledge the important role that she has played in our Living Well and Shamli Hospice/Respite care programs. Her generosity and countless hours of volunteer support, have contributed greatly to their success.”

Dr. Khanna has been replaced on the RCMS Board by Donna Yates-Johnson, who has previously served on the Board of Directors and various Board committees.  As a member of the 2010/11 RCMS Board of Directors, Ms. Yates-Johnson joins Alex Long and Michael Goran  (Board Co-Chairs),  Linda Frye, (Vice-Chair), Kathy Gary (Secretary), Stephen Whitaker (Treasurer), Jim Coffee, Cynthia Daniels, Jorge Dorticós, Tim Gallagher, David Rice, Esther Munger, Susan Aicher, Russ Hardy and Gary Sprague.
