Redwood Coast Medical Services (RCMS) was established in 1977 and operates
progressive, community-driven health care centers in Gualala and Point
Arena, California. RCMS is a not-for-profit, multi-service health care
provider offering a wide range of high quality, patient-focused, family-oriented
primary medical and dental care, as well as behavioral health counseling,
acupuncture, hospice/respite services and 24-hour emergency care.
In 2004, RCMS provided health care through approximately 22,000 patient
visits. Those patients came from a diverse mix of socioeconomic and
ethnic groups who live in an area that encompasses a 70-mile strip of
the Northern California coast – a region that has been federally
designated as medically under-served.

Be part of a dynamic, cooperative team that spiritedly faces the daily
test of rural heathcare made more challenging with the nearest hospital
located one and a half hours away.
Take the lead in an exciting new community health center in Point
Arena with plans for additional community-driven health care programs.
Collaborate and share clinic call coverage with Providers at the main
Gualala site who are dedicated to providing quality medical services.
Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package. Assistance with relocation
costs and/or temporary housing negotiable.
If qualified, participate in the NHSC or California loan repayment
program.
