Family Practice Physician Redwood Coast Medical Services, Inc. is seeking to add a Board Certified Family Practice physician to its well-established and well-respected Primary and Urgent Care practice in Gualala and Point Arena, on the Pacific Coast in Northern California. The physician provides essential care of registered patients in the support for the RCMS health care system.
Must have a valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of California.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine and is in good standing.
Have a current DEA certificate.
Have current CPR certification.
Working knowledge of computers and Electronic Health Records, and experience in the NextGen system preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Have three or more years experiences in patient care and clinical management.
Be public health oriented.
Registered Nurse, Urgent Care - Full Time As a member of the health care team, the Urgent Care Nurse provides and performs comprehensive professional nursing duties for patients who came to the Urgent Care Department with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses. Duties of the Urgent Care Nurse include screening patients and providing immediate/urgent treatment, setting up and operating specialized equipment, such as cardiac monitors and EKG machines, arranging transport for patients via ground/flight as required.
Registered Nurse License (California)
Practical knowledge of professional nursing principles
Skills to provide comprehensive emergent/non-emergent nursing care.
Practical knowledge of pharmaceuticals, therapeutic effects, side effects and complications.
Practical knowledge and skill in operating specialized emergency medical equipment.
Practical knowledge of a variety of nursing specializations including but not limited to prenatal, post-partum, pediatrics, internal medicine, diabetes, etc.
Current CPR, BLS and ACLS is required, TNCC preferred

X-Ray Tech - Part Time RCMS is currently hiring for an on-call X-Ray Tech in our Urgent Care department. The on-call X-Ray Tech works every third weekend from 8am – 6pm. Includes hotel accommodations during on-call weekend, As a member of the health care team, the X-Ray Tech is responsible for performing x-rays as required by the Urgent Care provider. Duties of the X-Ray Tech include preparing CDs of x-rays as requested, maintaining the x-ray log book and all x-ray related equipment and supplies, and entering x-ray information into patient records.
Maintain current California Radiologic Technologist certification.
Current CPR certification and TB verification.
Working knowledge of the use and applications of computers is required.
Electronic Health Records experience and competency (preferably with the NextGen system) required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word programs.
Ability to maintain accurate, detailed reports and records required.
Capable of performing position related physical requirements.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, good organizational skills, and must be able to work independently as well as with others in a team environment.

Community Health Worker The Community Health Worker (CHW) is responsible for helping patients and their families to navigate and access community services, other resources, and adopt healthy behaviors. The CHW will provide social support and informal counseling, advocate for individuals and community health needs, and provide health screening services.
Qualifications • High School Diploma or its equivalent required. • Written and oral fluency in English required; Spanish preferred. • Experience working in a multi-cultural setting. • Basic computer skills. • Ability to initiate and maintain positive working relationships with clinical staff and other organizations. • Understand the community served and demonstrate community connectedness. • Good communication skills, such as listening well, and using language appropriately. • Ability and willingness to provide emotional support, encouragement and motivation to patients. • Experience working in a community-based setting for at least 1 to 2 years preferred. • Knowledge of some medical terminology preferred.
MHA Network Coordinator The MHA Project Coordinator performs administrative tasks related to the coordination and oversight of the MHA Network. In addition, this position supports the implementation of the MHA Communications and Outreach activities.
Qualifications • Knowledge of computers, spreadsheet, and word processing software. • Excellent planning and organizational skills. • Ability to take responsibility and function under minimal supervision. • Ability to work with a wide range of people. • Highly articulate individual with excellent written and presentation skills. • Some college preferred. • 1-2 years of marketing, communications, media or public relations experience preferred.
