The Mendonoma Health Alliance is offering free blood pressure screenings at 11 locations up and down the Mendonoma coast this October, from Point Arena to Timber Cove. High blood pressure has no symptoms and can greatly increase your risk of developing heart disease and stroke, so it’s important to have your blood pressure checked regularly. If your blood pressure is high, you will receive free information about how to manage your blood pressure.
The Mendonoma Health Alliance (MHA) is a new Rural Health Network – a formal collaboration between Redwood Community Medical Services (RCMS), Coast Life Support District, and Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital – created to help expand access to, coordination, and improvement of healthcare services in our rural region.
